Risha Thayaparan

My name is Carol, I qualified as a podiatrist when I turned 40 after being a mature student at UEL. I worked in Lewisham as a locum pod in the NHS for a year or so before becoming predominantly private practice. I currently work in 3 clinics in London and have a nice varied workload.
I do general podiatry and am a great believer in regular podiatry intervention/education/supporting self-care as the factors of ongoing improvement of the nation’s foot health!!!!

I’m looking forward to meeting you.

Raj graduated with a B.Sc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine from University College London and the London Foot Hospital in 2003.  He is HCPC registered and a member of The Society of Podiatrists and Chiropodists.

Raj has extensive experience of working in the NHS and in private practice in a variety of areas within podiatry.

Risha is a HCPC Registered podiatrist and also a member of The Society of Podiatrists and Chiropodists. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) Podiatric Medicine degree in 2011 and began her career in the NHS in the same year.  Since 2015, Risha has been part of the great team at The Foot Space. Risha's employments at the NHS and The Foot Space have trained her well in the various specialist areas within podiatry, including general wound care, biomechanics, verucca treatment, nail surgery and treating patients with diabetes/rheumatoid arthritis. Risha enjoys working with her patients and obtains a great deal of job satisfaction in this profession as a podiatrist.

Ann Khattab

Ann Khattab

Ever since receiving Reflexology therapy in her twenties, and experiencing how the treatments helped with insomnia and calmed her nervous system, Ann has been interested in complimentary therapies. It was the beginning of a long journey of trying different types of therapies to improve her health.

It was only much later in life when treated with Cranio-Sacral Reflexology for headaches, anxieties and hormonal imbalance that Ann got to the bottom of her health issues. A trauma long forgotten was the underlying cause of her symptoms. Ann has long been relieved of these symptoms and, inspired by her own healing journey, now helps others to overcome their challenges.

Since qualifying in Reflexology and Swedish Massage, Ann has trained in various modalities and has advanced her work to becoming a Cranio-Sacral Reflexologist and a Therapeutic Massage Therapist.

Therapeutic Massage is defined as a manual manipulation of soft body tissues; muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments - to enhance a person's health and well-being. Ann incorporates different techniques into her massage, which may be from a very light effleurage to deep tissue pressure.

Each treatment is tailored to suit the individual. A client may only need one treatment to have the desired outcome or may be recommended to receive a course of treatments to have a real impact.
